Moss, Amy, Kate and Johnson are picked to take down an auction that occurs each year and this time is rumored to have a talisman for sale that has unknown powers attached to it. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Alice Hazelbaker -- Another crazy adventure for Moss and the gang! : I’ve been on Molly Fitz’s advance reader team from the start of this series, and I have totally enjoyed it, and had some laughs reading it! Moss is a cat shifter, and when he was caught using his “glamour “ to steal, the MCS sentences him to live 3 years in his cat form, and no glamour! To work off his sentence and get an earlier release, Moss agrees to help the MCS to catch other magical criminals. In this one, a very powerful talisman is being auctioned off, a talisman that the MCS needs to acquire. Moss is excited to actually get to shift into his human body for this caper! On the way, the group (Moss, Kaye, Johnson and Amy) needs to stop off to see a witch about reversing a spell she put on Neil in revenge. The problem is that Neil, a huge Newfoundland mutt, has been a dog so long that he’s having trouble shifting and adjusting to being a man - with some hilarious results! Once there, Moss calls on one of his past pals and fellow thieves, Leaf, to get a group invitation to the big Auction, where each of them will have to put a magical thing or power up for auction. In this 3rd book in the series, MCS has promised to release Moss if he helps catch one last bad guy. Back in human form, the search begins. This motley little crew will have you laughing from the beginning until the surprising ending when they catch the bad guy you didn’t see coming! Very fun read!
